A mid-century Bedouin hirz pendant. This type of pendant is likely a component of a big necklace that is common in both Yemen and Saudi Arabia. It is made in a cylindrical shape with a double bail. The sealed ends are decorated with roping and double dangles on either end. The middle is decorated with spirals of silver wire in the shape of rosettes. The pendant has three dangles from the bottom. The pendant is made with some silver content, though it does not constitute the majority metal in the alloy. It is in a reasonable vintage condition, with small dents on the ends and some rosettes missing from the back.
- Length 5 cm (2 ").
- The height from the top of the bails to the bottom of dangles is 4.5 cm (1 7/8").
- Weight is 12 g.
