Vintage Silver Kazakh Style Pendant Necklace

This is a beautifully worked Kazakh style pendant necklace. The work is most likely that of Afghani silversmiths who love to copy Kazakh style jewelry. The pendant has a raised center that has blue paper backing covered over with glass. The pendant also has fine silver granulation all around. I don't think the pendant contains anything on its inside. The necklace is from the second half of the 20th century.

The pendant tests as silver, the handmade chain, however, does not. The necklace is slip on and does not have a closure. It's quite long. It is in good vintage condition but has a missing repousse element from the bottom right-hand corner, and there is a small depression.
